What Is The Message?
I just read this article today from Kansas City.Com. It talks about US President George W. Bush thanking car manufacturers for producing energy efficient vehicles and the irony of the president doing so and spending an estimated 1,000 (? thats a lot) barrels of oil to deliver the message. The article calls it an irony, because the message, before it was delivered by the president, involved a massive effort from hundreds of people using thousands of dollars worth of resources, including oil.

But I have a different take on this entirely. Remember not long ago, how we all wished the US would have a strongerlinks stand on climate change and renewables? Well with the US president supporting renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies, we have what we wished. And its still better than where we were same time last year, right? See my point?
