The US Postal Service Gets Sunny

Thanks to chevron Energy Solutions, the United States Postal Service (USPS) has gotten a huge solar upgrade. It now has a solar power and energy efficiency project in its mail center in Northern California. When completed, the project will bring operating cost, particularly energy cost of the USPS down by $2 million!
And where will that money go to? To new equipment, funding for other productive and efficency inducing improvements, which ultimately goes back to the mail recepient. Snail mail may soon have a fighting chance! Read more here.
