The cons of hydrogen fuel storage resolved

Looking at hydrogen as an effective fuel in a car can be quite troubling, in fact, no matter how many precautions we take, accidents do happen.

I don't really want to be driving down the highway when I get rammed by a fully loaded Mack truck and my hydrogen fuel tank blows. Can we say Hindemburge?

But a solution is out there, but right now it is costly, a development company has gotten it in thier heads to sponge up hydrogen into a metal alloy. This company, Ovonic Hydrogen Systems, has also tested this technology with a hydrogen powered car, take a gander at thier website:

http://www.ovonic.com/

it is really a complex site, detailing not only Solid hydrogen technology, but also a hydrobattery system. I think this might become a standard for Hydro powered cars and would probly be a very rich company if we can get our heads out of the collective oilwells we are stuck in.
