Ted Turner of CNN Says: Switch to Renewables

Just this month, Ted Turner, the billionaire founder of CNN said that there should be a moratorium on all new coal plants, on all new carbon producing energy power technologies, and work on replacing all of these with renewable energy resources. Ted believes that we are endangering ourselves by not doing enough. He said he only a wholesale approach can save us, and that means favoring nuclear power over coal, biofuels from wastes rather than crops, and until wide-spread technology is available, use wind, solar, and hybrids to "help". He added that if you aren't motivated to help the planet, you should at least be motivated by the financial opportunities in clean energy adding that the greatest fortunes in this world will be created by opportunities in clean energy industries.
