Survey Says... Americans Least Concerned About Global Warming

Unlike Asians who had been asked about the impacts of Global Warming (as shown by the graph on the left) and who know what it is, Americans are the largest part of the planet's population who have not heard of Global Warming! This report says that 13% of Americans have never heard of global warming despite of the fact that their country is one of the world's biggest contributor to it. If you are reading this and nodding your head in disbelief, then consider yourself lucky to be exempt from that statistic.

But you know what, I attempted to balance the scale by finding out if the survey really is believable. This survey, taken a year ago disproves it, somewhat. This article points out that Americans do know its happening. But then again, these Americans may be part of that 87% that know what Global climate change is all about.

So the best thing to do is to spread the word. The more people know, the better the chances of us surviving the perils of climate change.
