Skystream Wind Turbine
Filed in archive Wind on November 30, 2006
Electric utilities require the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certification for the accreditation of key electrical devices such as inverters. Southwest Windpower of Arizona has received its UL certification and is now jumpstarting the sale of its 1.8 Kilowatt Skystream 3.7 residential scale wind generator.
According to Southwest Windpower, the Skystream will play a crucial role in the emerging home power market and is a great combination of cost, performance, and noise reduction that you can find in a small wind turbine.
