Canada’s Largest Wind Farm at IfEnergy

The largest wind farm has recently been completed by Brookfield Power in Canada. Called the Prince Wind Energy Project located in Sault Ste. Marie, the wind farm boasts of 126 wind turbines producing almost 200 MW of renewable energy. Aggressive Wind Energy Targets for the US at IfEnergy

According to the American Wind Power Association more than 3000 Megawatts of wind power will be put up in the US, easily a 25 percent increase in capacity this year. In 2006, the US increased its wind capacity by 20% to 11,600 megawatts and this year that number is expected to near 15,000 megawatts. Iowa City to build Wind Energy Supply Chain Campus at Supplychainer

Iowa City wants to create a "wind energy supply chain" campus to connect suppliers with assembly plants like Acciona, West Branch Times reported.
