Poultry Power

Poultry litter which is a combination of poultry droppings, some seeds, wood chips, feed, even feathers are being used as fertilizer but because it leaches to the ground people are looking for ways to dispose of it. Here is one, Poultry Power!
In Benson, Minnesotta, a 55-megawatt power plant is being considered with poultry refuse in mind. It would need 75 thousand tons of poultry refuse a year, meaning around 200 thousand heads. I dont think the US could be poultry powered but hey, a small town like Benson could!
