Ocean Technology Research Gets a $5 Million Leg-Up
What is in Florida that is world famous? The great beaches and oceanlinks front of course! Now a new sea-side attraction is set to rise in Florida as the Florida Atlantic University has been given a $5 Million grant to improve ocean technology research. The University's goal is to establish the Florida Center of Excellence in Ocean Energy Technology and will be the main research agent that will look at the power of the Atlantic to address Florida's energy requirements.

Beach heads now will include scientists that will study the wave patterns, important energy facts, and possible sites for harnessing wave energy in Florida soon. Read more about this development here.
