New Zealand is upping the tempo as far as renewable energies are concerned. Contact Energy, a New Zealand based gas company has invested $1.4 Billion in renewable energy resources, particularly a 260 MW geothermal plant and a 400 MW wind farm. Good news for New Zealand and very fortunate for Contact Energy, who has benefited from clear renewable energy guidelines that have been mandated by the government. See the point here?
