Nano-techn-ing Solar Cells
This story combines solar cells and nano-technology into one minute package. Wake Forest's Center for Nanotechnology and Molecular Materials has conducted a study that showed the effects of incorporating nanoscale polymer trees to conventional silicon solar cellslinks to improve the cell's ability to produce power. The science is a bit involved, but the intention and the outcome is plain and simple, this technology can work and can improve solar cells, past what they can do now.
