Michigan Briefs its Local Official on Wind Energy Guidelines
Filed in archive Wind on May 29, 2007
This is a great example of legislation going down to the last guy. This article discusses how officials from Tustin learned about wind energy guidelines and how these could be brought to their communities. This is a timely development since there are 52 wind projects in the planning stage across the state, and most developments require stringent development guidelines. I think it's a great development and a great sign that people are embracing more renewable energy developments. After all, it's the local people who have to live with the structures, right?
