Members of US Congress Requests More Renewable Energy Funding from President Bush

Last week, 80 members of the US Congress sent a letter to President George W. Bush to ask for more Renewable Energy support by way of funding initiatives through a greater allocation in the White House's Year 2008 Budget. The letter called for advanced hydropower power and geothermal power programs but also addressed the need to fund biomass and biofuels projects, wind, solar, and other energy efficiency. The letter ended with the statement, We look forward to working with you on this important endeavor. And truly it will be an arduous task.
