Major League Summer League
Filed in archive Current News on April 30, 2007
I didn't know this because I am not a big baseball fan. Did you know that the AT&T Park will be the first Major League Baseball stadium to use solar energy? The AT&T Park will sport a 120-kilowatt photovoltaic solar array that will have to fit into the tricky design of the stadium. The design and construction will be quite a task but it would be exciting to see the score board with so photovoltaic features, one that the designers are hoping to achieve.
Going mainstream, that's really it. Renewable energy technologies are creeping slowly into our lives and before long, all leagues will feature something similar to this development. Read more about this exciting sporting update here.
