Japan Gets Ready for New Wind Farm

The Japanese prefecture of Hyogo has just signed a contract with Repower Systems AG for the supply of ten turbines to add to the 43 turbines that have been installed and is supplying almost 70 MW of power now. This is why wind power is beautiful. If a particular site has wind power potential, you can simply add turbines to the series and expand your capacity nominally. While this is the same for almost all renewable energy resources, it works best for wind because you easily call a supplier, sign your off-take contracts, install the turbines, and sit pretty watching the beauties turn around the whole day.
