Japan and China Tie Up to Save Energy

I have said this before, the Japanese lead the world when it comes to capitalizing on problems. Their last deal with the Chinese government on helping China acquire energy-savign technologies from Japan is a testament of this ability. Pretty soon, Japanese companies will soon start operations in China. And this is a good thing for both countries since the Chinese government's plan of improving energy efficiency by as much as 20% in five years (2006 to 2010) would be realizable with Japan's assistance.
