Geothermal for the US

This article points to a study sponsored by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology says that the US could generate large electric capacity by tapping into heat locked below the Earth's surface. According to MIT's Jefferson Tester, the US resource could be tapped to provide economically sound energy alternatives.
