Florida and Sustainable Energy
Filed in archive Renewable Energy on February 27, 2007
Florida is one of the known US states that does not have a renewable energy platform yet. 22 other states have had their own versions of a new energy policy framework, but not Florida. This is because Florida is a dated state, not like the others who have made their utilities capable of earning and profiting from new revenue strategies, not just selling more electricity to make more money. This article explains more of that and says that for Florida to move forward, it should change this principle.
I say they should go for it soon! Florida is such an important state that it could not afford to lag behind the other states in renewable energy developments, and others.
