Call to Curb Carbon Dioxide
It cannot be stressed enough; we need to curb carbon dioxide emissions now. This has been the banner statement from most climate scientists, and now including Environmental policylinks expert M. Granger Morgan of the Carnegie Mellon University. He is challenging the US federal and state officials to take the lead in reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

According to Mr. Morgan, legislation could impose regulations that will prevent the establishment of conventional coal plants that are the main contributors to global warming. Provisions, according to him, must be made to control carbon dioxide in view of future scenarios.

In addition, he said that imposing a law that could provide incentives that will encourage power plant builders to design new coal plants that could emit less carbon dioxide will help efforts that combat global warming. Read more here.
