Biofuel from Palm Oil???

A research paper on the use of Palm Oil for use as Biofuels had been made public in Amsterdam this week. The paper is on the effectivity of Palm Oil as biofuel, and the ultimate finding is that using Palm oil is not effective, even destructive, to the environment.
I have written about this before. I have written about how the surge in palm oil demand will drive countries of lesser economic standings to cut their forest lands and start producing palm oil like crazy. Now the buyers and advocates of biofuels in Europe are putting the brakes on its purchase. Good decision.
