An Opinion On The US' Stand on Renewable Energy
Here is an opinion from George Monbiot on the recent position by US President George W. Bush on finding ways to combat Green House Gas Emissions and stop Abrupt Global Climate Change (the full article here.)

George says that the President's claims are smokelinks-screened denials or empty promises. That may be more than just his feelings since stock prices of renewable energy companies took some pounding after the State of the Union address, contrary to what White House economic adviser Alan Hubbard recently said about the Address generating headlines that will knock your socks off in terms of our commitment to energy independence. So what is the real deal here? Are people tired of listening to big politics? What do you think?
