Algae Power

Thanks to Narsi Santhanam for sending an email pointing me to many the resources on algae power that you will find on Narsi's blog. You can visit Narsi's blog by clicking this link and learn more about this amazing resource.
And thanks to bloggers and like-minded people, algae-based fuels look like they are set to bloom very soon. According to this article by Kevin Bullis, the potential of algae power is clear and is now being used by GreenFuel Technologies Corporation of Cambridge Massachusetts, a start-up biofuel company. This thanks to NREL studies that have spanned a decade but were cancelled because petroleum prices were low enough back then. With petroleum prices up and supply going down, you can expect people to rekindle their old motivations including using everything to make biofuels. Good news to algae and biodiesel-based algae technologies!
Just a matter of time before you guys emailing me about that biodiesel oil field in your backyard, you biofuel magnate! Email me your reactions guys!
