Al Gore and Technology Leaders
Al Gore is certainly doing a lot of ticking on his to-do list. He received praise for his film and walked the Hollywood red carpet and this month, challenged the techies to solve climate problems! The good thing about all if this is none of these sets of stereo-types have ever chased Mr. Gore out with a broom or a stick! Could that be what they call charisma? Or are we just getting this guy's sense?

Playing the Silicon-Valley-You-Are-The-Solver-of-Climate-Change trump card looks shrewd and possibly successful. He said "Technology gives us the leverage to change the patterns of behavior that are creating this crisis, and the most significant role in creating that technology will played here by you" when he spoke to 1,500 business and civic leaders early this month. And it looks like they are convinced! People like John Doerr of Klein Perkins Caufield and Byers venture capital says that green technology is the biggest wave of new business, and many others think he is right! Now, is this just Al Gore rubbing on to them or do you still need convincing?
