A Fly H Fuel-Cell Scooter

August 1st, 2006

The Dutch love riding bicycles. It is therefore not a surprise that Industrial Engineering graduate from the Delft University of Technology in Netherlands Crijin Bouman invented a working prototype of a hydrogen powered scooter. His prototype (shown below) is an environmental friendly, high-performance vehicle that features a regenerative breaking system that makes the scooter more economical to operate than conventional scooters. My Christmas (wish)list is getting longer. Is this a cool concept or what?

It must be a very effecient fuel cell specially on power to weight ratio. This is very important factors to flying machines. Weight is of less significance to sea craft and land vehicles.

I am very proud to have found the picture on the left. It shows the Golden Bridge in San Francisco and a powerful wave crashing against one of the berthing pillars there. It is so appropriate with what San Francisco plans to do now, which is to harness the tidal power underneath the bridge and produce energy.buy lipitor
