Renewable Energy
by Reden Rodriguez on May 5, 2007

According to this article from CNN, Micheal Eckhart, president of ACORE believes that huge amounts of energy can be supplied in an environmentally sustainable fashion, only that
"...We still have elected officials who believe renewable energy cannot power this country...".
According to US government projections, renewable energy resources can only contribute between 5 to 15% of energy but this is reflective of today's policies. Eckhart added that
"...Renewable energy doesn't amount to much unless you change policy."Alternatively, ACORE projects a total supply capacity of over 40% from renewables using wind, solar, geothermal, biomass, and all water related solutions such as hydro, tidal, and wave.
Question is, will policy change?
